Kualoa Park is one of my favorite locations on Oahu! It’s one of few locations with stunning mountain, ocean and palm tree views. With a vast mountain backdrop and expansive beach, you’ll get lots of variety in your photos! It also makes it great for toddlers or dogs who might get too distracted by the ocean and run straight to the water.

This made it the perfect location for Kirsten + Evan’s maternity session with their adorable pup! They’ll be having their first baby soon and wanted to capture their first ever maternity photos. We started off in the grassy area against the stunning green Koolau Mountains and got some shots with baby’s ultrasound. Then we headed over to the beach.

The little triangular shaped island you see in the ocean is named Mokolii, but is locally known as Chinaman’s Hat. But my favorite view here is the other side of the beach where the mountain, palm trees and ocean all come together! Halfway through the session, K+E changed into outfits from my Client Closet. Kirsten’s dress is one of my favorites! The gauze fabric gives it some texture and the lace and button details just elevate the outfit.
